Past. Present. Future.
A Quick Intro to Whānau Collective
Kia ora! I’m the heart and hands behind Whānau Collective, based in Levin, Aotearoa. As a stay-at-home Mum to a blended whānau of five children - soon to be 6 - and wife to a hardworking farmer, my life is full of love, chaos, and purpose.
My journey began with contemporary macrame products I named ‘Halo’s’, which blend traditional Māori patterns with weaving and macrame. Each piece is created with the right mauri, ensuring it embodies the spirit and energy it deserves. I’m excited to be picking up this part of the business again after taking quite a long break, bringing my passion and dedication back into every creation.
Whānau Collective is now branching out to offer Shopify website builds and maintenance packages for small businesses. With intermediate Shopify skills and a knack for adding basic coding, I’m passionate about supporting other businesses in achieving their goals. Our mission is to empower small businesses and entrepreneurs in Aotearoa by fostering a supportive and efficient online presence. We stand by our commitment to personalised service and heartfelt support.
On top of that, I’m also offering Personalised Star Maps, Customised Poster Portraits, and City/Town Map posters—just another hobby being thrown into the mix. These unique, personalised items are created with care and creativity, perfect for adding a special touch to any space.
My hobbies include finding ways to be self-employed and financially free. I believe in working hard and supporting my family in every way possible. From my own experiences of overcoming trauma and hardship, I know first-hand that with perseverance, you can change your circumstances and improve your life.
My vision for Whānau Collective is to create a legacy brand that empowers and supports entrepreneurship within our whānau for generations to come. We strive to foster financial stability, cultural appreciation, and a supportive community where our values and traditions thrive.
Thank you for stopping by and supporting this journey of ours. If I can do it, anyone can. We all support each other here at Whānau Collective.
Ngā mihi nui,
