Macrame Cord Care Instructions

Our macrame cord is made from 100% high-quality cotton, designed to bring a natural and beautiful touch to your crafts. To ensure your cord remains in the best condition, please follow these care instructions:

  1. Open Upon Arrival:
To maintain the quality of your cord, please open the package as soon as you receive it. Leaving the cord in the packaging for an extended period can cause it to become damp, which may lead to rotting. Store the cord in a cool, dry place to keep it fresh and ready for use.
  2. Storage Tips:
Store your macrame cord away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it in a breathable container or bag to prevent humidity buildup and protect it from dust.
  3. Avoid Excessive Handling:
While crafting, try to handle the cord with clean hands to avoid transferring oils, dirt, or moisture onto the fibers, which can affect the cord’s appearance over time.
  4. Cleaning:
If your cord gets dirty, gently spot clean it with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking the cord, as this can weaken the fibers. Allow it to air dry completely before use.
  5. Preserve Colour:
Cotton is a natural material that can fade over time, especially when exposed to sunlight or harsh conditions. To preserve the colour, keep your finished pieces out of prolonged direct sunlight when possible.

Following these simple care steps will help ensure your macrame cord stays beautiful and functional for all your crafting needs. If you have any questions about cord care, please reach out to us for assistance.

Please Note: While we strive to ensure that the colours of our macrame cords are displayed as accurately as possible, the actual colours you see may vary slightly due to different screen settings, lighting, and monitor calibrations. Natural variations in the manufactoring process may also result in subtle differences between cord batches.

If you have any questions or need assistance with colour matching, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you for your understanding and support of our whānau-owned business.
